The Divinity Society of our college, founded in 1952, is committed to fostering spirituality and carrying forward the timeless teachings of our revered Gurus. Rooted in the principles of faith, humility, and service, the society serves as a platform for students to connect with divine wisdom and embrace the values that guide a meaningful life. The society nurtures a deeper understanding of Sikh teachings and the wisdom of Gurbani, fostering a vibrant sense of community among students.
We organize Samagams, Sangrant Samagams, and Gurpurab celebrations to bring the community together for collective devotion and reflection. Additionally, we commemorate Founders Day with spiritual fervor, honoring the legacy of our institution. The society extends its influence beyond the campus by hosting inter-college Kirtan competitions, Bani Kanth, Declamation, and Akharkari contests, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and deepen their understanding of the teachings of the Almighty.
To promote spiritual learning, the society conducts Gurmat Sangeet sessions. These sessions offer students the opportunity to learn and practice devotional music while understanding its spiritual significance. By bridging the gap between tradition and contemporary learning, we enrich the spiritual journeys of our members.
The society also actively participates in inter-college competitions, representing our institution with pride and spreading the light of the Gurus’ teachings far and wide. Through these activities, we aim to instil values of compassion, selflessness, and unity in our members, creating a positive impact both within and beyond the college community.
The Divinity Society invites students from all walks of life to join us in celebrating faith, music, and spirituality. Together, we honor the legacy of our Gurus, learn from their teachings, and build a harmonious community rooted in divine values.
