The Folk Dance Society is a vibrant community that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of traditional Punjabi dances like Bhangra and Luddi. Bhangra, known for its high energy and rhythmic beats, showcases the joyous spirit of Punjabi festivals and farming traditions. Luddi, on the other hand, is a more expressive dance form with graceful movements that narrate stories of celebration. The society brings people together to preserve and promote these art forms through performances, workshops, and events. It fosters cultural pride, unity, and a deeper appreciation for regional traditions, ensuring they thrive in the modern world.
