SGTB Khalsa College Bhangra Team is a Boys Folk

Dance Societyof SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, established in 2008. It is a student led and faculty guided society at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College. It serves a vibrant center for creativity, providing a welcoming space for students to express themselves through their compassion, hardwork, skills. 

This society/team aims to Bhangra a art, a true language of emotions, fostering a community where self expression, team work and artistic growth thrive.                    

Vision

The society has been created to uplift and and preserve the tradition of Bhangra. 
**Bhangra** is a traditional and vibrant dance form originating from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. It is often associated with joyous celebrations such as harvest festivals (like Vaisakhi), weddings, and other cultural events. Over time, Bhangra has evolved into a popular global phenomenon, blending traditional  elements with modern music and styles.

Society Activities

Throughout the year the society/team holds major event Lashkaraa with its own unique theme. In this event the team/society hosts many colleges for the Folk Dance competition, providing a chance to promote brotherhood among different colleges of the University.
