About
ETRAM - The Western Dance Society of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College was established in 2015 to create a vibrant community where students can explore and express their love for dance. What began as a small group of enthusiastic individuals has blossomed into a thriving society, offering members a second home where creativity and solidarity flourish. ETRAM over the years has grown into a society that is recognised for its dedication and talent. We focus primarily on participating in inter-college fests and competitions, where our hard work and passion are showcased.
At ETRAM, dance is more than just an art—it’s a discipline. Our members undergo intensive training in various dance styles, including Hip Hop, Jazz, Dancehall, Locking, LiteFeet, Waacking and various others. Training sessions emphasize not only learning the moves but also understanding the history and essence of each style. We start with the basics, ensuring a strong foundation before advancing to complex choreography. Daily practices include strength training, stamina building, flexibility exercises, and agility drills, all designed to prepare dancers for high-level performances. Our holistic approach ensures that whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, you will grow and evolve in your craft. As we all feel, it is more than just a dance society—it's a family. We believe in building strong bonds among our members through regular team-building activities and bonding sessions. This sense of unity and support extends beyond the dance floor, creating a community where lasting friendships are formed.

Society Activities
Our annual production, a 6–8-minute performance, is the highlight of our year—a showcase of our technical skill, creativity, and teamwork. Over the years, ETRAM has made a name for itself in the Delhi Dance Circuit, performing on prestigious stages such as IIT Delhi, Christ University, and various Delhi University colleges. Our members actively participate in several college events, workshops, and performances, creating a significant impact within the college. Additionally, ETRAM proudly organises and hosts Meraki, the Western Group-Dance competition held during Khalsa College’s annual fest, Lashkara, which attracts dance societies from across Delhi.
