Lakshya, the enabling unit at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi, is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students with disabilities. Established in 2017, Lakshya specially focuses on visually impaired students, it ensures equal access to educational resources and opportunities. Its mission is to remove barriers and promote a culture of empathy and inclusion within the college community.

Vision
Lakshya seeks to nurture the academic and personal growth of the PwD students of the college and present, in praxis, the college's commitment to inclusivity. Its efforts contribute to an environment where every student can thrive and participate meaningfully.
Mission
1- Assisting visually impaired students: Lakshya provides scribes and necessary support for writing tests and assignments.
2- Organizing welfare activities: The unit arranges events to engage and support disabled students in college life.
3- Spreading awareness: Workshops are conducted to educate the college community about the needs and rights of disabled individuals, fostering inclusivity.
4- Visits to blind schools: Regular visits to blind schools help build connections and enrich the experiences of both college and school students.
5- Collaborating with NGOs: Partnering with NGOs allows Lakshya to enhance its resources and extend support to disabled students.
