- Prof. Harbhajan Singh (1951-68): He had contributed not only to Hindi but also to Sanskrit and Punjabi literature. He had received Sahitya Academy Award 1968 for his contribution to the Punjabi language. He also received Soviet Land Nehru Samman.
- Prof Mahendra Kumar was an eminent scholar of Ritikalin Hindi Sahitya. He become the Head of the department in University of Delhi. He also became the member of Hindi Advisory Committee of the Foreign Ministry and Several as a member of Union Public service Commission.
