During the holiday season in December 2021, the English Literary Society collaborated with Letters to Strangers Chhattisgarh, “a youth-run organization for creating safe spaces and personalizing mental health”, according to their Linkedin, to provide participants with the opportunity to exchange holiday letters anonymously with strangers all across the country, bringing them together and giving them space to open up without reservations. The collaboration was a success and allowed participating members to spread the holiday cheer and start off the new year by receiving wholesome letters from complete strangers.
