A special programme was organized on 14th October, 2025 to welcome the freshers of the academic session 2025–26, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere in the college premises. 

 

The event was organised by the Students’ Union 2025–26 under the leadership of President Nishu Kumar, with the support and guidance of Principal Prof. Gurmohinder Singh, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur Nanda, Advisor, Students Union, Dr. Radhika Warikoo, Prof. Jasneet Kaur Wadhwa, Prof Nimmi Singh, Prof. Parminder Kaur Narang, Prof. Bipin Kumar Thakur, Dr. Ravinder Kaur Bedi, Dr. Amarendra Pandey and Mr. Ritwick Bhattacharjee. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased a rich blend of talent and cultural diversity. 

 

The highlight of the event was a series of performances by college societies. The Music Society – Swarang captivated the audience with melodious renditions, followed by an energetic act by the Western Dance Society – Etram. The Urban Bhangra Girls added vibrant energy with their lively performance, while Qala – The Classical Team impressed everyone with their graceful and visually stunning act. An Open Mic and Talent Showcase provided a platform for students to express their creativity through poetry, music, and performances, encouraging active participation from freshers. 

 

The event concluded with an electrifying performance by DJ Prerak, accompanied by TaalMixer, the percussionist, creating a lively and memorable finale. Raunake-E-Freshers 2.0 successfully brought together students in a spirit of celebration, talent, and unity, marking a memorable beginning to their college journey.
