Collaborating with All India Radio (AIR/Akashvani), SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, hosted a Youth Conclave on August 24, 2023. Aimed at gathering the talents of SGTB Khalsa College in anticipation of the G-20 Summit, the event featured performances and presentations from various individuals. The Akashvani team, led by Shri Manohar Singh Rawat, joined numerous performers, including those from SGTB Khalsa College. The college's representation included Principal Prof. Jaswinder Singh, Vice Principal Prof. Surinder Kaur, and the Organising Committee led by Prof. Harbans Singh. Other members of the committee were Dr. Ravinder Kaur Bedi, Dr. Nimmi Singh, Dr. Jagir Kaur, Mr. Amandeep Singh, and Dr. Guntasha Kaur Tulsi. Anchored by Sh. Munish Jolly, the event commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony and a Shabad recital by Anhad, the Divinity Society of SGTB Khalsa College. Munish Jolly’s presence reflected the magnitude of the event, and how it was filled with stalwarts of the nation. The Lamp Lighting was followed by a captivating performative rendition of the song "Vasudhaiva-Kutumbakam". Then, the Principal, Prof. Jaswinder Singh delivered the Welcome Address commencing the series of various performaces including the cultural programme by Akashvani Rudhraveena Group, led by Sh. Shiv Dutt Pant, Declamation and Anchoring presentations by the college students and a Quiz Competition. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, lauding the talent of the college students.
