A special program was organised to welcome the Freshers’ batch of the year 2024-25 in the premises of SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi.

The programme was organised by the Students’ Union of the college on 24th January, 2025, and comprised of a vibrant cultural extravaganza put forth by various college societies. The highlight of the event was a variety of musical and dance performances featuring singers and performers like ‘Taalbaaz’ and DJ Maya. The performance of the skilled instrumentalist Yogesh Babbar won huge applause for the day.

The cultural extravaganza brought teachers and students together through a range of activities, music, dance and forms of creativity. ‘Mr. and Miss Fresher’ was the other highlight of the event which energised the young brigade to put in their best foot forward. The event was put together by a team of teachers and students led by Students’ Union Advisor, Prof. Jasneet K. Wadhwa, under the able guidance and mentorship of the respected Principal of the college, Prof. Gurmohinder Singh and Vice Principal, Prof. Harbans Singh, and through the cooperation of students and teachers alike.
