A thrilling 23 days of the 11th season of the Sahibzada Zorawar Singh & Sahibzada Fateh Singh T20 Cricket Tournament was recently held in the grounds of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College from the 6th to 28th Feb. 2025. It brought together teams from various colleges and local clubs for competitive and exciting matches. The event, organized by the college's Department of Physical Education, aimed to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit. The tournament was inaugurated by Prof. Balram Pani, Dean Colleges, University of Delhi and Padma Shri (Dr.) Ravi Chaturvedi along with Prof Gurmohinder Singh, Principal, Sgtb Khalsa College. The tournament featured several closely contested matches among 16 teams, showcasing the talents of both budding and experienced players. The format was league-cum-knockout. This season, the matches were live streamed on the YouTube channel of Clubcricket. The finalists Carpedium India and Delhi Challengers Cricket Club made the last match intense. Both teams displayed excellent batting and bowling skills.

Many International & IPL players were part of this season are Shivam Sharma, Ayush Badoni, Rishi Dhawan, Navdeep Saini, Tejas Barokha, Karan Sharma, Rishi Dhawan, Aakash Madhwal, and many more. The Spectators including students and faculty cheered passionately adding to the lively atmosphere. The chief guest and special invitees for the prize distribution ceremony were Maj. Gen. Dr. Yash Mor, Dr. Susheel Kumar (Assistant Director, University of Delhi), S. Inderpreet Singh Kochhar (Treasurer, SGTB Khalsa College) and Prof. Gurmohinder Singh.

The event was a great success, highlighting the importance of sports in promoting physical fitness and camaraderie. The college's cricket ground proved to be an excellent venue for this thrilling event, with its well-maintained facilities contributing to the overall enjoyment of the tournament.
