The Inaugural ceremony of Lashkara’25 began by seeking the blessings of the Almighty with a Shabad recital by the students of Anhad, the Divinity Society, which was followed by the lamp lighting ceremony performed by Prof. Gurmohinder Singh, Principal, Prof. Harbans Singh, Vice-Principal, Prof. Jasneet Kaur Wadhwa, Convener for the Students’ Union Advisory Board, Prof. Gurinder Singh, Co-convenor of the Students’ Union Advisory Board, Dr. Nimmi Singh Jandu, Dr. Ravinder Kaur Bedi, Dr. Ruchi Kaur, Dr. Radhika Warikoo and Dr. Inderpreet Kaur Nanda- members of the Students’ Union faculty advisory. The official brochure of Lashkara 2025 was also released. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a brief address by Prof. Gurmohinder Singh, Principal, wherein he urged the students to participate with gusto in the cultural festival.

The first day saw the prize distribution ceremony to felicitate and award students who had won the unique competitions of that day. The guests who graced the occasion were the chairman of the college, S. Tarlochan Singh, the treasurer- S. Inderpreet Singh Kochhar, governing body members of the college Mrs Rupinder Kaur, S. Nirmal Singh, and S. Balwinder Singh Kohli. The guests of honour were singers and performers, S. Ramneek Singh Chadha, and S. Nirmal Singh Sethi. The ceremony was organised by the students' union advisory members.

The 3 day event saw an enthusiastic participation from students across the Universities of the city. The first day saw dance competitions organised by both the Western Dance Society and the Bhangra Society. It also witnessed Street Theatre performances by the Theatre Society and exhibitions by the photography and arts and crafts society separately. Other societies, managed by either the students or the college, similarly held their respective events and displayed their talents. The second day was thrilling as the famous singer, Mr. Prabh Gill captivated the hearts of the crowd through his soulful melodies. Following Ms. Kavleen Kaur’s band, the main performance by Mr. Gill enthralled the audience so much that his voice resonated throughout the college long after. The final day had events organised by the different departments of the college. The day also saw stage performances by theatre societies from across the university. Lashkara ’25 marked the height of the cultural presentation of the college as it gathered students, faculty, staff, and the members from the Governing Body of the college to come and celebrate the spirit of SGTB Khalsa College Delhi University.
