The Commerce Department ‘s annual flagship event, Business Conclave 2025, organized under the aegis of IQAC, took place on 18th February, 2025 with the theme Incredible India: Leveraging AI and Digitalization for Inclusive Growth. The conclave brought together industry leaders, educators, and influencers for insightful discussions on the future of business and technology.

The event commenced with a soulful Shabad performance by Anhad, followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting. Dignitaries including Padma Bhushan Sardar Tarlochan Singh (Chairman), Principal Prof. Gurmohinder Singh, Vice Principal Prof. Harbans Singh, Dr. Vijender Singh Chauhan, and Major General Yashpal Singh Mor graced the occasion. Prof. Gurmohinder Singh’s inaugural address highlighted AI and digitalization's transformative role in India’s economic landscape. Sardar Tarlochan Singh emphasized inclusive growth and innovation while also discussing ethical trading practices inspired by the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. While Major General Yashpal Singh Mor delivered an inspiring speech on leadership, resilience, and service to society.

The keynote speech by Dr. Vijender Singh Chauhan explored the intersection of business, technology, and social impact, setting the stage for an engaging series of discussions. The first panel, Empower Entrepreneurship, featured Harteerath Singh Ahluwalia (Forbes 30 Under 30), Mukul Chhabra (Founder, ScrapUncle), and Jyotiraditya Thakur & Krishbir Singh (Co-Founders, BHAG Club). They shared their entrepreneurial journeys and the role of AI in scaling businesses while ensuring social impact.

The second panel, Enlighten with Educationists, brought together CA Dr. G.S. Grewal, CA Parag Gupta, Mr. Anuj Kumar, and Mr. Arvind Shankar, who discussed evolving teaching methodologies, financial literacy, and the impact of digital learning on commerce education. The final panel, Influence with Impact, featured prominent digital influencers Yashvi Bagga, Jaspreet Kaur Dyora, and Gia Gupta, who explored content creation, branding, and AI-driven marketing strategies. Alumnus Jatan Bawa (Co-Founder, Perfora) shared insights on scaling a startup and brand positioning in the digital age.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, delivered by the organizing team, expressing gratitude to the Padma Bhushan Sardar Tarlochan Singh (Chairman, governing body), Principal Prof. Gurmohinder Singh, Vice Principal Prof. Harbans Singh, Ms. Parveen Kaur Lamba (Convenor, Department of Commerce), Ms. Ashween Kaur Anand (Student Coordinator),Ms. Gurveen Kaur (Student Advisor) and other faculty members. Special appreciation is also extended to the Student Council Rahul Aggarwal, Arth Manuja and Saumil Joshi, and Riddhi Jain for their leadership and contributions in making the event a resounding success.

Business Conclave 2025 stood as a testament to the college’s commitment to fostering intellectual discourse and industry-academia collaboration. The event not only ignited thought-provoking discussions but also strengthened the vision of ‘Incredible India’—a nation thriving through AI-driven and digital-inclusive growth. With this milestone, Commerce Society continues its legacy of excellence, inspiring the next generation of business leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
