Principal's Message

The College attempts to instill in its pupils the values given by the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur, in addition to the University's official curriculum. Many exceptional young men and women have passed through the College's doors since its founding in 1971 and gone on to achieve success as professionals. We have produced academic achievers who have served the nation as ministers, officials, and people's representatives at all levels, as well as pupils who have gone on to represent India in various sports. All of this is a result of the faculty's dedication, the College's numerous societies, which provide the students opportunity to express themselves and grow outside of the classroom, and the infrastructure that is in place. Indeed, to gain a sense of the College's infrastructure, I would strongly advise guests to embark on a virtual tour of the campus.

The College has been monitoring student progress using computer software since the 1990s, and it currently has an in-house ERP solution with website hosting capabilities. This simply serves to highlight how Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College is modernizing while also upholding traditional values.

As the College's new principal, I will uphold the noble traditions that have brought honors to the institution while also taking fresh initiatives to advance. My goal is to make the College's research culture stronger. This step is required in light of the introduction of the four year graduation in NEP, where the forth year focuses on research. We will work to foster an environment conducive to research and serve as a liaison between the business and academic sectors in order to bring in the much-needed funding. I will also ask the College Alumnus to provide assistance in this regard. I am sure that the students will become more employable as a result.

I'm inviting my pupils to come along on this thrilling adventure into the future as we stand on the brink of transformation.

Wishing you the very best.
