Eligibility for Seeking Admission

  • Eligibility rules are determined by the University of Delhi. Applicants are advised to consult the Bulletin of Information issued by the University of Delhi for the academic session.
  • Admission to the undergraduate courses at this college shall be determined on the basis of percentage of marks secured in the subject combination at +2 level as indicated in the cut-off list.
  • As per College norms, marks of vocational subjects will not be counted in the aggregate of four best subjects. In case of any unforeseen situation, the decision of the College authorities will be final and not subject to any appeal.
  • Candidates opting for courses other then Hindi/Punjabi/Other Indian Languages must have had English as their medium in their Sr. Secondary or equivalent examination with English also being a paper.

Admission Procedure

The cut-off lists for different courses shall be displayed on the College Notice Board as per University Schedule. No individual intimation will be sent to the applicants. The applicants with marks as per cut-off will be required to fill in an Application Form for admission, which must be supported by the following documents in original along with an attested copy of each:-

  • Mark Sheet of Senior Secondary (XII class) or equivalent examination.
  • Certificate of Date of Birth issued by the School Examination Board (X class).
  • Provisional Certificate of the last public examination passed and Character Certificate issued by the Principal of the School last attended.
  • Two latest unattested colour photographs (passport size).

Original documents detailed above shall be retained by the College for one year. Candidates with a history of bioailments must inform the College Admission Committee at the time of admission. Applicants will have to give an undertaking in the final admission form that he/she accepts the conditions for admission to this College, and the same shall be countersigned by his/her parent/local guardian.

Compulsory Test In Hindi

Students admitted to Degree Courses (Arts and Science), who have not already passed Hindi at the School Examination (Higher Secondary Examination, Qualifying Examination or an examination recognized equivalent thereto) along with other subjects, will be required to pass a Compulsory test in Hindi, otherwise they shall not qualify for the award of the Degree. The test may be taken at the end of first, second or third year. No teaching for this test is catered to.

For seeking exemption from this test, a student must submit a photocopy of the certificate of VIII, X or XII class examination passed with Hindi.
Foreign students are exempted from Compulsory Test in Hindi.
